Krys N Jack was the last of the three Emerging Designers award winners to showcase. The most eclectic of the bunch, The Knockers Spring 2010 line was a definite hit with the attendees. Designers Krysta Henry and Jacquetta O’Dell cut, dye, and cure all the leathers and woods by hand. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think these girls were artisans and carpenters raised by Donatella Versace in a fashion house (or is it haus?)! Ok, maybe not Donatella Versace, these girls deserve more respect than that.
If the Femme Noir was the to die for dreamy fairytale of fashion… then The Knockers is the rock ‘em, sock ‘em, in your face, get up and slay a shitty driver in LA traffic kind of line… enjoy.
